Amanda and the creation of The Brem Method
Welcome to The Brem Method.
I'm glad you're here. If this feels different than your past academic experiences, that's because it is.
The Brem Method was built out of a simple but powerful realization: MCAT prep shouldn’t be about burnout, brute force, and suffering through it—it should be about strategy, structure, and confidence.
Founder Amanda Brem started teaching the MCAT informally, first as a tutor for friends and classmates, then for friends-of-friends over coffee or dinner. No matter who she worked with, she kept hearing the same struggles: overwhelming amounts of content, too many resources with no clear direction, intense competitiveness, and no time or support to balance MCAT prep with the rest of life.
Having experienced the same frustrations herself, Amanda knew there had to be a better way. Drawing from her background in personal training and athletic coaching, she developed a flexible, structured approach that prioritizes efficiency over exhaustion. The Brem Method helps students identify the weak spots in their prep, build a realistic and adaptable study plan, and incorporate regular assessments with built-in buffer time—because life doesn’t stop for the MCAT.
Beyond just content review and test-taking strategy, The Brem Method emphasizes the real secret weapon of test day: confidence. By blending expert instruction with mental fitness coaching, we help students not only prepare for the MCAT but trust themselves when it matters most.

The Brem Method Company Values
Vision: To be, show, and provide a better way for for-profit companies to serve students in higher education. To prove that businesses can be financially successful while also providing compassionate, human-first education.
Mission: The Brem Method is the gold standard in institutional MCAT prep by 2030
“Humans, not numbers.”
We believe in meeting people where they are—whether it’s our students, our partner institutions, or our own team. We recognize that everyone is fallible, imperfect, and capable, and we assume the best of others while also holding them to a high standard. For students, this means supporting their unique journey with respect and encouragement. For schools, it means recognizing the dedication of educators and working alongside them to create meaningful student success. And internally, it means fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and empathy, where we treat each other as people first.
“Limitless Learning”
We believe that growth never stops—for our students, our partner institutions, and our own team. We foster psychological safety and a culture of continuous learning, where feedback is valued, action is taken when meaningful, and opportunities for education and development are encouraged. For students, this means creating a space where curiosity thrives, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and a supportive community fuels their progress. For schools, it means collaborating with like-minded educators, exploring research opportunities, and seeking innovative ways to support students. Internally, it means embracing growth, supporting each other’s development, and always striving to improve.
“Everything with Intention”
Every action we take is purposeful—rooted in clear thinking, research, and a commitment to meaningful outcomes. For students, this means that every strategy, assignment, and lesson is designed to help them succeed on the MCAT and beyond—nothing is busywork. For schools, it means that our partnerships are built with purpose, always focused on supporting students as both test-takers and lifelong learners. Internally, it means making thoughtful, research-backed decisions that align with our values and drive real impact. Nothing is done just for the sake of doing—it all serves a greater purpose.
“Clear, Clean, Open Communication”
At The Brem Method, communication is honest, transparent, and intentional—whether with our students, our institutional partners, or within our team. Internally, we foster a culture of clarity and empathy, celebrating wins, providing timely and constructive feedback, and eliminating ambiguity wherever possible. For students, this means delivering direct, supportive, and honest feedback, even when it’s challenging, to help them grow and succeed. For institutions, it means clear, respectful, and timely collaboration, ensuring that expectations are aligned, feedback is shared openly, and voices are heard. We believe that open communication builds trust, strengthens relationships, and drives success.
